Message from Ross Jennings, VP of International Programs and Extended Learning at Green River College

Hello everyone –

I am very sorry to report that a bus of international students from Norh Seattle College was hit by a big vehicle on the Aurora Bridge in Seattle and resulted in a terrible accident. Four NSC international students were killed, and many more injured. The injured are being treated at different Seattle hospitals.

No Green River students were involved.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the deceased and injured, and everyone at NSC.

The news said that the hospitals can use more blood to treat the injured. If you would like to donate blood, and can arrange transportation, the nearest blood donation centers are in Tukwila (South Center Mall area) and Federal Way. Here is the link:

I’m going on Saturday.

Thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers.

Ross Jennings
